Free painting and colour consultation
Whether the customers painting requirements are interior or exterior, we set a suitable time to meet with you to view the project. This is a free comprehensive painting consultation that we offer, which also includes a colour consultation.
Interior Painting
Before any interior painting we ensure that all floors are thoroughly covered with drop cloths, as well as furniture moved and covered for protection.
Preparation before painting always includes filing and patching of holes and masking where applicable. All electrical plates are removed for a clean finish. At the end of the job we do a complete clean-up and vacuuming, returning furniture to its proper place, and ensuring we leave your home as we found it.
Exterior Painting
As preparation is the key to quality exterior painting, we emphasize on preparation to maximize the longevity of all our work. All cracks in the wood and stucco are caulked. Loose paint is scraped off and sanded, and where applicable windows and doors are masked with polyurethane. Power washing might also be advisable.
Paths, driveways and patios are covered, so that the only thing to get painted is your home. With a final clean-up, your wouldn’t know we had been there – except for the fact that your home looks like new!
Zero VOC Paints
VOC stands for volatile organic compounds, which are widely found in some paints and are toxic. At Living Colour Painting we care about the health and safety of our customers, and that is why we only use paints for the interior that have zero VOC’s.
